Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 500000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 1500000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 500000 ~ 1500000.
Eligibility criteria:
a) The minimum General Experience in the construction works as Prime Contractor shall be 7 (Seven) years (counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper)
b) The minimum Specific Experience as a Prime Contractor shall be completion of at least 1 (one) contract for similar works completed within last 5 (Five) years with a value of at least Tk 3.5 (Three point Five) Lakh in Govt/ Semi-Govt/ Autonomous organization.
c) The tenderer shall have a minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover during last 3 (three) years of Tk 30 (Thirty) lakh. Tenderers shall submit payment certificates during last 5 years with a year-wise list. Payment Certificates of JV works not supported by JV Agreement shall not be taken into consideration.
d) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facilities shall be Tk 6 (Six) lakh and to be submitted from any scheduled bank of Bangladesh in PW3-7 form. The document submitted along with the tender must be issued in between tender publication and submission date. Liquid certificate other than in PW3-7 shall not be accepted.
e) The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk 4.2 (Four point Two) lakh. The tenderer must submit a calculation sheet in this regard. The tenderer must submit list of contract agreements, up to date payment certificate for on-going and completed contract under public sector. In case of JV, copy of agreement between leading and other partner shall be required.
f) The Tenderer must possess and submit up to date Trade License, up to date Income Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, up to date Audit Report of the Firm, Work Program in Bar Chart etc.
