Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 500000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 1500000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 500000 ~ 1500000.
Eligibility criteria:
(a) The Tenderer/Supplier shall have a minimum of three (3) years of general experience in the supply of goods and related services.
(b) The Tenderer/Supplier shall have satisfactory supply record of similar goods (Chemicals) of minimum Tk 3,50,000.00 (Three Lakh Fifty Thousand Taka) to any Electricity Generation/Distribution/Transmission Company, BPDB, any Govt./ Semi-Govt./Autonomous Organization under single contract in the last 3 (Three) years. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the e-GP System. Satisfactory Work Completion Certificate/ Acceptance Certificate stating the amount must be submitted as documentary evidence of the supply record otherwise the tenderer will be considered as non responsive. Notification of Award (NOA) or Purchase order (PO) or Contract agreement cannot be considered as the proof of supply record.
(c) The Tenderer/Supplier shall have a minimum amount of liquid assets i.e. working capital or credit line(s) from any Scheduled Bank, net of other contractual commitments, Tk. 4,00,000.00 (Four Lakh Taka) on tender publication date or any later date. Supporting documents must be submitted (stating the amount), otherwise the tenderer will be considered as non responsive.
(d) The Tenderer/Supplier should have valid Updated Trade License, 13 digit BIN certificate, regular Income Tax payee, should have the legal capacity to enter into the contract, and shouldn’t have a conflict of interest pursuant to Rule of Procurement Policy-2015 of Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh Ltd. Otherwise, the tenderer will be considered as non responsive.
