Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 7666666.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 23000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 7666666 ~ 20000000.
Eligibility criteria:
a)Reputed contractors/construction firms who have minimum 5 (Five) years of general experience in construction works.
b)Having specific experience as a prime contractor in successful completion of at least 01 (one) number of RCC Structure Building including civil, sanitary and electrification works worth not less than Tk.50.00 (Fifty) Lac. in a single contract in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 05 (five) years. In case of the work done under PWD the certifying & authenticating authority shall be the concerned EE. (ii) In case of the work done under any Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of EE and the same duly verified by the concerned EE of PWD of that district
c)The Tenderers shall have a minimum average annual construction turn over amounting TK.1.00 (One) Crore, This must be supported by total certified payment received for contracts in progress work completed under public sector.Best 3(Three) years in the last 5(five) years will be considered for calculating average construction turn over.
d)The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk.50.00 (Fifty) Lac.
e)The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk. 70.00 (Seventy) Lac as per formula stated in TDS.
f)The Tenderer must posses: i) Up to date trade license. ii) Valid VAT Registration certificate from concerned office. iii) Up to date income tax clearance certificate. iv) Up to date ABC category contractory and supervisory license from Electricity Licensing Board, GoB.
g)Tender will be evaluated with latest amendments of PPA 2006 & PPR 2008
