Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 1000, estimated cost should be less than or equal 50 lacs BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 833333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 2500000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 833333 ~ 2500000.

Eligibility criteria:
a) Contractors who are registered on e-GP web-portal and fulfill the qualification criteria stated in the tender document.
b) Any individual (s) firm who fulfill the qualifications of the criteria stipulated in the tender data sheet (TDS) and other conditions of the Tender Document for Open Tendering Method (OTM).
c) If the quoted amount by tenderer more than the 10% above or less than the 10% below than the official estimated cost, the submitted tender will be treated as non-responsive.
d) The Provisions laid down in the "Public Procurement Regulation 2008 "(Ammended-2009) for procurement of works will be binding upon the contractors.
e) The quantity of work may be increased or decreased or work may be totally dropped.
f) Payment will be made according to the availability of the fund. In that case no extra claim will be entertained. But the work must be done within given time.
g) There is no budget allocation for the work. Proposal has been submitted to Ministry of Water Resources for Budget allocation & permission for implementation of the work. Work order will be issued after getting approval from MoWR.
h) For line of Credit from any scheduled Bank of Bangladesh all the bidders must submit an unconditional assurance certificate following the standard format (Form PW2a-3) without alteration. Otherwise Tender will not be considered as responsive. Form PW2a-3 has been attached in Section 7 (General Specification) or may downloaded from CPTU website.
