Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 8333333.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 25000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 8333333 ~ 20000000.
Eligibility criteria:
a. Reputed Contractors/ Construction firms who have minimum 05 (Five) years of general experience in construction works (year counting from the date of publication of IFT)
b. Having experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in successful completion of at least 1(one) number of Similar nature of works with a value not less than Tk-60.00 (sixty) lac in a single contract in Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh during last 05 (five) years. (year counting from the date of publication of IFT)
c. In case of the work done under any Govt/ Semi Govt/ Autonomous Bodies/ Organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer & the same duly verified by the concerned Executive Engineer of PWD of that locality /District under whose jurisdiction the work has been done
d. The tenderer must have a minimum average annual construction turnover of Tk.125.00 (one hundred twenty five) lac over last 5( five) years (year counting from the date of publication of IFT)
e. The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk 60.00 (sixty) lac
f. The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk 78.00 (seventy eight) lac
g. The tenderer shall submit updated income tax clearance certificate,VAT registration certificate,Trade licence, ABC category contractor and supervisory license from Electricity Licensing Board
h.The tenderer shall maintain the pro-rata progress of works (in terms of value of the works) as part of his obligation pursuant to GCC clause 42
