Official Cost Estimate (Prediction):
* Since document price is Tk. 2000, estimated cost should be more than 50 lacs BDT, but less than or equal 2 crore BDT.
* Tender Security can be maximum 3% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost is more than Tk. 5000000.
* Tender Security is normally more than 1% of Official Cost Estimate. So estimated cost should be less than 15000000 BDT.
Thus, Official Cost Estimate should be BDT. 5000001 ~ 15000000.
Eligibility criteria:
This invitation for Tender is open for all eligible Tenderers as mentioned below:
(a) The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in Construction Works as Prime Contractor shall be 5(five) years. [Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper]
(b) The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor of at least 01(One) contract of 01(one) no. building construction work completed within the last 05(Five) years in the Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh, with a value of at least Tk 40, 00,000.00 (Tk Forty lakh).
(c) The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk 70,00,000.00 (Tk Seventy Lakh) over the best 3 years in the last 5(Five) years.
(d) The minimum amount of Liquid assets in the form of working capital or credit facilities of Tk 60,00,000.00 (Tk Sixty Lakh). In case of Line of Credit, certificates must be unconditional and specified for this work only submitted in the prescribed Form of CPTU from any scheduled bank.
(e) Tender Capacity of the Tenderer shall be Tk 45,00,000.00 (Tk Forty Five Lakh)
(f) The Tenderer must enclose up to date Trade License, Income Tax certificate, Valid VAT documents, up to date ABC category Contractory & Electrical Supervisory license from Bangladesh Electrical Licensing Board along with the tender.
(g) The firms that are already debarred by the World Bank are not eligible to participate in this tender.
(h) Other required eligibility and conditions of the tenderer are given in TDS, PCC & Section 8 of STD.
