Ministry of Finance approved the new PWD Schedule of Rates on last 21st June 2022. PWD being the oldest engineering department of Bangladesh, has the long history of publishing schedule of rates. These schedule of rates are widely used by various government agencies of the country. Even PWD schedule of rates are used in legal system to ascertain property values.
Later on, Finance mimistry approved revised rates of some basic materials like bricks, sand, rod, cement, bitumen etc. As-a-result, rates of may items have been increased and PWD has publised a revised version of civil part of the Schedule of Rates on 23 February 2023.
